The Class40 brings together professional and amateur skippers around a 40-foot monohull, on an international calendar of solo and double-handed offshore races. The official site needed to gather a very lively body of content (skippers, boats, races, rankings, media) into a clear, bilingual interface that the class team could keep up to date day to day without relying on an agency.

Project

Design and development of the bespoke site on Kirby CMS, in French and English. Automatic synchronisation of skipper, boat and race records with the Class40 API, interactive maps, rankings, media library (photo galleries, YouTube videos, podcasts), classifieds and membership form. Privacy-friendly analytics with Plausible and SEO optimisation (meta tags, hreflang, Open Graph data).
